Based in the port city of Fremantle in Western Australia, the Fremantle International Portrait Prize is the fastest growing photographic competition in Australia. FiPP ran for the first time in 2012 and adheres to the highest egalitarian and ethical standards.
FiPP is open to ALL photographers, amateur or professional, anywhere in the world. FiPP is run by a team of nine volunteers with all profits
going to charity - the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Foundation of Western Australia. The judging system is innovative, creating the most statistically rreliable and valid system of any competition worldwide.

Wild Heart Adventures leads tours to South America, Turkey, Patagonia, Turkey, Borneo, Brunei and the Kimberley and Pilbara areas of Western Australia. We also conduct photography workshops and weekends away covering portrait and landscape photography, beginners to advanced digital photography courses at the University of Western Australia Extension (UWA Extension). Whether you use Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, Sony or Pentax we can show you how to get more creative and technically accurate photographs. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional, using digital or film, Dale Neill and Wild Heart will teach you creative techniques as well as landscape and portrait skills. Photographers of all ages and abilities enjoy the camaraderie of other photographers, having fun and sharing photographic tips and skills.
Dale Neill runs workshops in conjunction with Camera Electronic, Team Digital and Fitzgerald Labs. He has also co-led workshops with Greg Hocking, Peter Lambert, Nigel Gaunt, Nick Melidonis, Kevin Lucas, John Harman, Colin Woods, Sue McLeod, Veroniqua Alexy. Peter Eastway, Michael Coyne, Nick Rains, Richard I'Anson and Nick Djordjevic.
Wild Heart has run courses for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Woodside, Department of Agriculture, City of Fremantle, City of Subiaco, Town of Mosman and the Busselton and Margaret River Camera Clubs and Foto Freo.
Master Photographer Gold Bar), Dale Neill was awarded the Western Australian Professional Photographer of the Year 2005 and the Western Australian Commercial Photographer of the Year 2005. In 2012 Dale was a finalist in the National Portrait Prize in Canberra with his image 'Farewell My Son'.
